Breakthrough was a vocal trio formed in 2008 and included Jennifer Daquila, Barry Fortgang, and Malia Civetz.  They all grew up in the Las Vegas area. Growing up, they began singing, entertaining, and “wowing” audiences across the Las Vegas valley with their energetic solos. All three excel in theater, voice, and worked hard on improving their vocal/performance craft. Individually they have very impressive resumes.  They have delighted many audiences.

Breakthrough entered the Henderson Talent Show Competition in February, 2008 and walked off with 1st place.  All three solo entertainers have performed at the Bootlegger’s Future Stars Showcase, Turnberry Towers (with Kelly Clinton), and at numerous civic events and productions in the Las Vegas area through 2009.

Breakthrough has appeared at many Las Vegas venues including “Toast of the Town” at Sam’s Town appearing with Clint Holmes, the Suncoast Showroom where they performed the opening act for “Shades of Sinatra”, Santa Fe Station (Chrome Room) with the Las Vegas Tenors, Sunset Station (Club Madrid) for “Puttin’ On the Hits” an All-Star Variety Show, and the Thomas and Mack Center, where they were invited to perform the “National Anthem” for the final NBA Summer League Game.

Breakthrough also performed the Celebrity Spotlight Show at the Bootlegger – an evening of “Broadway Showstoppers” and “Blockbuster Hits” to a full house in the cabaret setting of the famous Bootlegger Bistro.  The group disbanded to work on their music/theater and college aspirations.
